CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT
At the Advanced Learning Center, students have the opportunity to take courses for both high school and college credit through the Concurrent Enrollment program. Concurrent Enrollment is a state-wide partnership, allowing high school students the opportunity of earning both college and high school credit concurrently while taking college courses by approved high school teachers. These college credits are transferable to most state colleges and universities. To be eligible, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 to take academic courses and a 2.00 GPA for CTE courses.
Over 90% of our ALC courses are Concurrent Enrollment. We partner with Utah Valley University or Weber State for our courses. Please see our Detail Course Guide for more information. Tuition cost for CE is $5.00 per credit and paid directly to the University. There is also a one-time admission fee. The admission fee for UVU is $35.00, and Weber State's fee is $30.00.
