Career Exploration
Unfortunately, there isn’t a magic wand or test that can tell you for sure what career you should go into. It takes a lot of time,
research, and thinking on your part. But there are assessments, internet occupation search engines, books,
as well as other activities like job shadowing and internships that can help.
Self-Assessments - Go to these websites: TIP: When completing these tests, you need to be in the mood and answer the questions truthfully. Results from assessments like these can be easily skewed. If you are hungry, for example, or even too hot or too cold, you can be impatient and won't take the time to answer the questions in a way that will reflect honest answers about yourself. Also, with some questions, there is no right or wrong answer. Both answers may reflect who you are. Just choose as best you can.
With the personality exam, pay close attention at the end to what careers your personality type enjoy. |
